How to add CloudFlare to GoDaddy Hosting

This article will teach you how to  Cloudflare to GoDaddy Hosting

Change the nameservers from GoDaddy to Cloudflare
Connect your root domain in Cloudflare
Add the custom domain in Art Storefronts.
This means you will be adding the www version of your domain to Art Storefronts(i.e. www.domain.com).
What you will need:

A Godaddy account
A Cloudflare Account
Nameservers pointing to Cloudflare
Step 1: Add your domain in Cloudflare
Log into your Cloudflare account

Add your site by clicking ‘Add Site’ on the top right-hand side of your browsermceclip1.png
Put your preferred domain name

Select your preferred plan

Review your DNS Records

Cloudflare will then give you the new nameservers to change in your domain provider. In this case, it will be GoDaddy.mceclip5.png

Change Nameservers in Go Daddy

Step 2: Changing your domain nameservers to Cloudflare
Enter your domain at ICANN WHOIS field:

Note: Please save the Name Server records somewhere safe just in-case you need them in the near future
Log in to the administrator account for GoDaddy domain registrarmceclip8.pngmceclip9.png
Click on the DNS Records of your chosen domain

Change your DNS Records (NAMESERVERS) to what your Cloudflare account recommended.mceclip11.pngmceclip12.pngmceclip13.png
Go back to your Cloudflare account and mark that you are Done with changing the nameservers values

After Cloudflare is done checking your new nameservers, you can now go ahead and start the Art Storefront part
Step 3 Adding Your Domain CNAME Record for ASF
From within your Cloudflare account, navigate to your DNS settingsmceclip15.png
Change the value of the www CNAME Record to www.artstorefronts.com
Make sure that www is marked as the name
Enter www.artstorefronts.com as the target
Select Automatic TTL
The cloud should be orange with a grey arrow through it
Add a Root Domain CName Record
From within your Cloudflare account, navigate to your DNS settings
Select CNAME from the dropdown menu
Enter @ as the name
Enter www.artstorefronts.com as the target
Select Automatic TTL
The cloud should be orange with a grey arrow through it
Click Save

Step 4 Adding Your Page Redirect Rule
Back at the top navigation, click Page Rules

If you don’t already have one, create a new page rule

Enter your domain as yourdomain.com/*
Note: in place of yourdomain you see here you will enter your actual domain
Add a Setting
Select Forwarding URL

Under Select Status Code click 301 – Permanent Redirect
For the destination URL, enter in this exact format https://www.yourdomain.com/$1
Note: in place of ‘yourdomain’ enter your actual domain

Click Save and Deploy
